Linguistics

The linguistics team of the MULTICAST project, consisting of Prof. Guido Seiler and Eyal Dolev, will analyse the speech of the participants in the study, in search of linguistic features that can be leveraged for predicting suicidality. Specifically, we will place our focus on syntax, as syntactic variables have never been accounted for in previous research involving suicidality and linguistics. We will especially focus on aspects of information structure and syntactic complexity.
